Our entering into a covenant with God obliges us to be holy because he is holy. That puts to mind the obligation old time serfs had of dressing in the livery of their masters.

What is involved in being holy? Can you help me out with this?  Of what does God's holiness consist?

I like Dante's summation of God's holiness as the orderliness of his world's creation, while the human  quality reflecting God's holiness would be his and our complete truthfulness.
