Jesus comes to us at other times than Christmas.

Thursday, 12/21/17

As we approach the end of Advent we are brought to see that it celebrates all the comings of the Lord, and not just of his coming at Christmas. The readings today bring our attention to two other ways in which he comes.

The First Reading from the "Song of Songs" describes for us us his coming to us as the great love of our souls.

The Gospel pays tribute to his coming to us wordlessly. You can drop into the chapel, or come on him alone, and his being with you wordlessly will give your spirit a warm surge.
