Here I am. Lord,; I come to do your will.

Tuesday, 10/24/17

The Response to the Psalm is "Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will."

The reference in our missals identifies those words as coming from Psalms Eight and Nine. Oddly, though, I could nor find those exact words in eiither Psalm Eight or Nine. That leaves me to attribute them to me and you.

Father Tom, on entering our chapel, says "Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will."

Kevin and Suzanne, on coming into our chapel each says, "Here I am, Lord, I come to do your will."

Gary and Carol; as the first ones into our chapel, each says. "Here I am. Lord; I come to do your will."

Eileen, her heart filled with her loved ones, says, "Here I am, Lord: I come to do your will."

Dinh, and then Liz, with prayers for their scattered love ones, come in here, saying, "Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will."

Doctor Elizabeth, with the worries her six sisters pile on her, says. "Here I am, Lord: I come to do your will."
