Isaiah says that if you shelter the homeless then your light shall burst forth like the dawn.
By the homeless, we mean the people of our city who wander the streets and sleep under the bridges. It also means the thousands of people whom war has driven from their homes and with whom we share the joy of being the children of god.
As for your light breaking forth like the dawn, we must see this as a line of poetry, and instead of trying to explain it, we must thrill to bask in that light.
