Let me tell you about a Holy Week practice that might be helpful for you. Take a walk, or sit back, or kneel down letting your mind run one by one over the series of events from Our Lord’s Palm Sunday morning to his being laid in the tomb on Friday.
You can either just keep your mind on each happening, or you can make a rosary of it: praying one Our Father and ten Hail Marys while meditating on each incident; asking yourself about its relevance for you. You could go on for hours that way.
On a forty minute walk yesterday evening I started with Jesus riding into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, and I didn't get as far as the agony in the garden. Maybe i can pick up there this evening.
